According to Slovak outlet "Denník N", Šimon Nemec has requested a trade from the Devils

Slovak outlet Denník N reports that Šimon Nemec has requested a trade from the New Jersey Devils through his agent, citing their own trusted anonymous source.

The report also says new Devils GM Sunny Mehta has not communicated with Nemec since taking over in mid-April, despite a meeting reportedly being planned after Nemec’s vacation.

Denník N frames a trade as increasingly realistic, while noting that New Jersey still controls Nemec’s rights as an RFA. No confirmation yet from the Devils or major North American NHL insiders, so this should still be treated as a report.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

How are we all feeling about Lindy this morning?

For me he's always a bridesmaid....

Can't wait for next year and whatever changes Sunny brings.

Adam Nemec Still Available at 44 should we take him ?

Scouts have him Ranked anywheres from 27-64 depending on who’s mock draft your looking at . Watched him at the WJC looked noticeable and fills a forward prospect need, could be used as a way to keep Simon Nemec next contract down , chance to play with his brother. Thoughts 💭?

How many Devils games have you been to? Also what was your most memorable game?

24 games for me, including the 2024 stadium series, probably the most memorable for me as well. It was cold as a MF that day and I only brought 2 layers. I was dying.

Another memorable one was 1/29/2025 (I use an app to track every game I go to) when we played the flyers, it was the first game I attended alone. I bought tickets on the side where we only score once and thought “it’s unlikely they get some goals on my side but we’ll see” and I’m pretty sure we ended up scoring all 5 goals against the flyers on my side, we won 5-0 that day.

Matyáš Melovský is Czechia’s player of the game vs. Slovenia

Today Devils prospect Matyáš Melovský was named the player of the game for Czechia in their game against Slovenia. Despite the 3-2 OT loss, Melovský recorded 1 assist, 3sog, and 16:56 toi.

Watching the game today makes me very hopeful for him as a player for the devils. Works extremely hard and is willing to battle for the puck in almost any situation.
