i just solved the consul's car w/o ever sitting down w/ valdez
playing la noire 4 the first time, completely blind. as soon as i found out valdez was a pedophile n that he was at wilshire demanding an audience i was like "i'm absolutely not putting 'kissing ass 2 a pedophile' as my priority i hope i waste his time" n went 2 follow up on the missing wrench lead instead. found the culprit's name from that n i was like "well this is actually more time-sensitive (bcuz he may know we're on his case) than the audience so i guess he's being ignored again LOL". one thing led 2 another n suddenly i was arresting the culprit n the case was over. motive was clear as day 2 me even if the case notes said that if i had conducted that audience i would've found out a motive. i do suppose i missed the joy of cole calling him a child rapist tho
