Mystery snail feeding advice needed! Double parasnail video for attention.
Mary the mystery snail here has recently become the star species of her tank after the betta fish passed away from bloat. Now that she only lives with 6 neocaradinas and a nerite, what should my feeding routine look like? She gets a lot of daily plant mass down by chowing through the stems and dead leaves dropped by the upper layer of water lettuce and id really like her to keep doing that job if possible. I've already added cuttlebone and crushed eggshells to the substrate to help with calcium, but everything im seeing says she'll need more on top of that. The betta fish ate fluval bug bites, and im wondering if i can just give her some of those, and if so how many and how often. Im fine with getting bottom feeder pellets if i need to, but i dont want to waste the old food or have her stop eating dead plant mass (theres a lot).
