Buffalo grass yellowing

Buffalo grass yellowing

Hi all

Just after some recommendations. This is a Buffalo lawn in Melbourne. Usually in summer it’s quite lush as it’s watered frequently. But given it’s winter , that’s not happening, and the lawn is starting to yellow. I guess that’s what Buffalo does , as most grasses do in winter as it becomes dormant. It’s normally cut at a 6 notch which I’m thinking is about 88.9mm / 3.5inches roughly. Should it be raised ? I’m not so sure it’s scalping.

Is there any recommendations of anything that can be used for this time of year to keep it somewhat lush / to prevent it from yellowing ? Or is that asking too much of it this time of year.

Bm 🤦‍♂️

So I don’t know if it’s a lesson I’m really after but man is this a roadblock.. Im trying so hard to get this chord down. I want it to come naturally so I can progress to it freely… I want to be able to get into position quickly without fluffing about … it takes me a good 10-15 seconds to get myself setup in this chord… ugh

I’m trying a finger on finger off method.. the thing is , my fingers don’t look like how my friends fingers look when they hold a Bm..

theirs look so natural .. mine look so clumped.. it’s really killing me and frustrating the hell out of me.. though if I can get past this it will free up a lot of hurdles I’m hitting.

There’s times when I get in position it’s so clean it’s perfect .. then fingers off / on and it’s not great and it takes a lot of shuffling to find the perfect sound again… ugh… the frustrations …

Is there any tips ? Videos ? Something / anything on this ? 2 weeks / 15-20 mins on this and only this per day is killing me… I could go longer but … I’m at a block … do you want pics of my finger positions that I’m talking about ?
