Need link to original (2017) Nt Mini jb firmware v2.3

Looking for the git repo of legacy jb firmware. I need v2.3 for the original Nt mini. Below repo has a link that is dead. Went to that user's repo and it's no longer published it seems. Anyone have a source?

Beer Mug Club - Acceptable practice to just walk around ship w it?

So I decided to purchase the DCL beer mug from the online shop to have it delivered to our stateroom when we arrive. I know that you can get discounted pours at the bars, but is it acceptable practice to just walk around the ship with/without beer in it? I’ve read some other posts about getting it exchanged for a token of some sort so you don’t need to schlep it from place to place. I was also planning to bring beer on board, but I noticed the new policy states that alcohol brought on board can only be consumed in your stateroom. Interested in hearing how others have made use of it other than just a souvenir to bring home. Thanks!

Approved items policy

We’re planning to bring a small portable fan and white noise machine. Is it best to back this in carry on bag or will they take it out of our checked luggage?

Book hotel stay just for express pass?

We’re planning to go to universal and ioa on 6/12. Express passes for my family are north of $200 per pass — does it make sense to book a hotel stay (if i can find one) to get the free express passes — even though we already have a place to stay? Advice welcome - we only have one day and trying to maximize our activity.

BBB Reservation at 1p on Castaway Day - should I attempt to reschedule?

We have reservations for an upcoming cruise on the Fantasy and have booked BBB for our 2 daughters 9 and 4 yo. The best time I could reserve was 1p on our last full day which also happens to be Castaway day. Any thoughts on if I should attempt to reschedule once on board with customer service on embarkation day? Anyone have any success doing this? We have two other days — Nassau and day at sea which would be preferable as we wouldn’t have to cut Castaway day short. Thoughts/feedback appreciated!

Estimates to replace 4 ton York

Have a York model that needs to be replaced. Had coils replaced 3 years ago covered under parts warranty- still cost 2k in labor. Last year started leaking again and needed a pound of refrigerant. This past Monday at the start of a heat wave, froze up again and needed another 4 pounds. Unit is over 10 years old so no longer covered under warranty. I’ve obtained 3 quotes. Attaching here. In summary:

  1. Goodman unit from overpriced outfit that installed the York — wants over 11k — not taking this one seriously

  2. Tempstar T5A6S — 7.2k

  3. Tempstar N585S — 6.1k

Any thoughts on the estimates and units quoted? Seems the second quote is a superior Tempstar model but I’m having trouble determining what the additional features are other than sound level (which I don’t care much about) and the ion thermostat which I’m not sure benefits me — I already use a Nest thermostat.

I’ve asked the 3rd contractor to give me a quote for the T5A6S so I can have an apples to apples on the estimates.

Royal Gathering Booking Tips

Anyone that’s had luck booking this know if it opens at midnight like online check in? Any other tips on ensuring a reservation?

UPDATE: I was able to secure a reservation for our party of 4 on our preferred day at sea. Times available were between 8am - 930am only. I was able to secure the 930 spot to give time for breakfast beforehand.

Also, I should have mentioned our online check in was earlier in the week, so I didn’t have to worry about doing that at the same time.

Thanks for the advice on this!

First time online check-in, completed in 11 mins, 12:15 port arrival time - how’d I do?

Haven’t a been on dcl or a cruise for that matter since 2013, so online check in was new for me. Thanks to this subreddit and countless YouTubers I felt I was well prepared. Started promptly at midnight EST, site crashed once midway through which cost a few minutes. Overall I thought I was pretty efficient. Upon accessing port arrival times, 12:15 was the earliest option. I feel like this is decent but wanted to get thoughts from others - how’d I do?

Also, as a follow up, what is the suggested time to leave Orlando area in order to board the ship as close to 12:15 as possible? — staying offsite in winter garden right by MK.

Thanks again!
