Today is a good day 😎
Just waiting on my Everdrive 64 Pro now and we’re all set. Anything I should know before getting started?

Just waiting on my Everdrive 64 Pro now and we’re all set. Anything I should know before getting started?
I nearly put an M64 in my cart, but that ghastly red fisherprice knob just did not let me. A3D arrives today :)
Looking for opinions / recommendations on the wireless mod kit for OEM controllers. How’s the latency? Worth the money to upgrade? Etc.
I just discovered this great company and picked up the 3D and Duo. Would have loved to get the Mega SG, NT, and Super NT but it looks like they aren’t made anymore and my only option is expensive ones on eBay. Any reason they stopped making them?
I am playing with the original N64 controller, but I do want to buy the 8bit 64 controller to play on the Analogue 3d.
I really like the look of the grey n64 8bit 64 controller and have the same colour buttons as the original n64 controller.
But before I buy this, I need to know if it works good, how does it play like in the games?
I've read that there is a issue with pressing the c buttons at the same time which doesn't work, so that would be a major problem with games such as Crusin USA where you need to press several c buttons at once to change the cars. But I'm not sure if this has been fixed with the latest update v2.05?
I really would love to consider buying this.
Does it work great with Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie? And really all n64 games?
Hi I recently got an Analogue 3D and nearly every time I turn it on I get 9 Blinking orange lights. It then stops and returns to normal and goes into the Analogue menu.
What causes this ?? i’m using the Ocean Blue HDMI cable that came with the console, and the blue power plug and USB-C cable plugged into a US to UK travel adaptor as I live in the UK and we don’t have two prong sockets over here.
Analogue Pocket supreme !!!!!
I was looking forward to playing Xibalba 64 and I'm pleased to report it fully works.
What’s the best currently available controller for the Duo? Looking for wireless that is as close as possible to the original TG16 controller.
It’s been down for 3 days, and I’m not sure what changed. I could try to fix it, but I’m not a .NET developer, and I don’t want to rely on vibe coding with AI.
The Analogue 3D was designed as a modern take on the N64. This post is to help you maximize quality with modern displays (IMO). I’m using a 4K gaming projector but a modern TV will give you identical quality. The final images will show you my tweaking but you will have to change the image fit and size depending on what your playing (all other settings are to be untouched besides image size and image fit). Im using a SummerCart64 which is only $50 on AliExpress. The N64 provides 16:9 support so I updated some games with the support: OOT & Majora’s Mask can take a patch update for 16:9 and the 3DS model for link. Smash Remix and Mario Kart 64 Amped Up also include widescreen support.
ALL GAMES SHOWCASED WIDESCREEN ARE NATIVE & ALL OTHERS GAMES ARE CINEMA ZOOM. THE FINAL IMAGES WILL SHOW YOU WHATS USED FOR EACH GAME.
Super Nintendo works with the latest firmware update 1.5.0. However, not all games. My last images show you all the well running games, it’s limited but the goats work (Secret of Mana has font glitches, Pocky & Rocky works great just ignore the startup). I will leave display settings for those as well. Comment if you have any questions. I’m probably not updating the console further to preserve this quality. This is to be determined.
SNES games tested & playable:
Chrono Trigger
Frogger
Harvest Moon
Mega Man X 1
Metal Warriors
Pocky & Rocky 1 (glitchy start up logo)
R-Type 3
Secret of Mana (font issues)
Street Fighter 2 Turbo
Super Castlevania IV
Super Mario World
Super Metroid
The Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Past
SNES ROM hacks tested & playable:
Dottie Dreads Nought
Metroid Fusion
Super Junkoid
I’m sure there are tons more but I tested about 50+ games and most of them didn’t even boot up. DK series worked but had audio issues which is why it didn’t make the list. Please comment any games you found playable!
SNES Display:
Games like Street Fighter 2 and Mega Man X look good with Fill & Cinema Zoom but some games like Super Mario World look best with Integer+ & Original. I prefer using Fill & Cinema Zoom to get the most out of my 143 inch display for SNES games.
ORIGINAL NES: not working for the Analogue 3D but it will on the original N64. I have some ideas to make it work but time is not on my side.
It seems like the best aftermarket M64 controller out there atm. It would make sense if they added support for it.
According to Modretro, it should be possible for Analogue to add support for it. According to them there is nothing from their side that's stopping it from working on the A3D. That said, im not an engineer, so idk how much of that statement is true.
Just wonder if someone here knows whether Analogue has any plans for this?
Apparently there are some mods/hacks of the N64 game Super Mario 64 that cannot be run on a real N64, not because of any inadvertent incompatibility, but because the creators of the mods/hacks specifically made them use more speed/memory/whatever than a real N64 can provide, and so you have to use a specific version of a specific emulator to play the roms/hacks.
Can the Analogue 3D play them? If so, then which ones are worth trying, please?
I fell in love with my chromatic. Just got my m64 and was talking to a friend. I explained how i hope modretro does a Super Nintendo, and a sega, and a xyz. And my friend told me about analogue. I was thrilled. I ran to the store and started adding stuff to my cart only to see that tons of systems are no longer in stock. Do they come back in stock or is this like a if you miss it you’re screwed type deal? I was checking on eBay but everything seems to be priced way above the actual price, so is this just a scalpers paradise? Or will they restock all the systems eventually? Thanks guys!
Edit: so it seems from the majority of the responses to this post, that this community is really sensitive about me asking a , what seems to me, harmless question someone new to analogue would ask. Idk why it seemed to ruffle your feathers so bad. But i guess this is what i get for coming back to Reddit.
Has anyone updated their 8bitdo 64 controller using the 3D? I don't understand how it would work - thanks!
UPDATE:
”Thanks for writing in.
Please note this feature is not currently implemented at this time.
Thank You,
Best Regards,
Analogue Support”
A PSA since I’ve seen more than a few people touting M64’s CRT compatibility as something Analogue doesn’t have over on their sub:
Yes, you absolutely can use your Analogue 3D on a CRT. Other than when my launch system first arrived and I had a friend over to check it out on my living room 4K OLED, I have ONLY played my 3D on my PVM (and I play it regularly; currently about 20% through 100%ing Banjo Kazooie.)
My video from eight months ago has links to everything you need, but you should be able to get all the specific equipment for roughly the same cost as ModRetro’s (admittedly much more convenient) accessory that’s currently on preorder.

Happy to answer questions as time allows, although I’m doing a double feature with my kids in our home theater today so I may not be back to this much today.
The Analogue 3d is bringing N64 games back to life again. Its basically the new N64 console but even better as it has so many quality settings that makes your N64 games even clearer and better then ever before. This has made me go back to rebuying many of my childhood N64 games again and its so great to return to the N64.
I have got a few N64 games now that i am currently playing on it:
Banjo Kazooie
Banjo Tooie
Ocarina of Time
Majoria's Mask
Super Mario 64 (1st time playing this never played it as a kid)
Crusin USA
Crusin World
And some BK Romhacks (playing on SummerCart 64) :
Banjo Kazooie Jiggies of Time
Banjo Kazooie Gruntida's Mask
It's so great to return back to playing N64 games again and the original N64 game cartridges. I'm playing the analogue 3d on my 32 inch 4k monitor and it looks amazing, i do play with CRT Filters as i love scanlines on old games like n64 as it hides those blocky graphics.
How do they look? I'm trying to decide whether to get one or see if anyone have extra. So far I'm loving the console, I was tempted to sell my black variant to get a atomic purple but I'm pretty happy how sleek the black looks, just wanting to possibly add a holo sticker for a nice flare.
