Smell when DC fast charging or after long drives?

Picked up a 2022 C40 last week. I'm finding a smell when I'm using fast chargers, and possibly after longer drives. It's a bit of an ozone smell, not awful but certainly noticeable. I am completely new to EVs though, and have no idea if that's normal for EVs in general, C40s specifically.

Anyone experience something like that? Normal?

Current meta for combining Enphase with off-brand battery backup?

My new 9kW grid-tied system with IQ8HC inverters and an IQ Combiner 5 is being finished next week. I opted not to get battery backup yet due to budget, and to avoid installing Enphase's expensive batteries from my one-brand installer company.

I'm hoping to be ready to add batteries before the end of the year and am researching my options. From what I can tell from my reading here and elsewhere, the current best practice would be an EG4 Gridboss combined with a 12kPV all-in-one hybrid inverter, with the solar panels connected via AC coupling over the generator input.

Does that sound about right? Is there a better route? Installer has said the IQ Combiner 6 (not available here yet) will do a lot of what I need, but I get the impression it's not as simple as connecting off-brand batteries to the 6's battery input and would probably need AC coupling regardless.

Any advice r/enphase?

Dealership lost my certified cheque, now wants a wire transfer. Any advice?

I flew to Montreal last week and bought a used car from a dealership. Reputable, big brand, everything went pretty smoothly.

Today, they're telling me they lost the certified cheque bank draft I gave them for the down payment. They want me to go to the bank, cancel the cheque draft (they'll pay fees), and send them a wire transfer.

I don't think they're trying to scam, though I'll be going over everything with a fine tooth comb, validating their identity somehow, etc. I have no interest in screwing with them and will pay, but this feels like a risky situation to be in.

Does PFC have any advice? Any best practices on how to deal with this?

Edit: Bank draft, not a certified cheque, my mistake. I'm seeing what everyone is saying about it being effectively cash and am going to pump the brakes, take it slow. That money was out of my account the minute I had the cheque generated, so I'm not going to pay another cent until it's all back. If it can all go back, because it kind of sounds like that may not be an option. Also going to dig into the dealership some more; I'm not absolutely sure I'm not getting phished by someone who might have captured the sales guy's email.

Edit 2: Called the dealership, not a phish, they really might have lost the cheque! Still going to take it slow and protect myself as much as possible. Hopefully it all works out easily, but I'll update if it gets interesting. Thanks folks, appreciate the help!

Picked up my C40 on Friday, then realized why I like it so much...

First photo is my new-to-me 2022 C40. Second photo is an AMC Eagle: a way-before-its-time 4wd station wagon from the 80s. I've thought many times about how much I'd love to get one and restomod to electric. Bought a modern version without even realizing it, ha!
