AEM 2021
I feel embarrassed to be posting this, but I’m scared my final grade in aem statics & dynamics is not high enough to pass (D+). I would’ve used a late W, but I thought I could pass the course based on my overall grade before the final. Is there anything I can do to see if I can save my grade? This is already my second time trying to fulfill this major requirement, and I don’t have any room in my schedule to add/drop classes fall semester, so I’m really anxious.
The first time I took my dept’s statics/mechanics course, I just barely didn’t pass (had a very rough semester and was honestly burnt out from summer courses), but I really tried this second time around. I went to office hours, tried to ask qs, but it was hard bc I didn’t know anyone in the class. We focused much more on statics and deformation of rigid bodies in our dept’s version of the course, so I’m wondering if I can ask the prof to reconsider my grade in that regard?
I’m just so exhausted, and I feel so stupid bc why can’t I pass this one requirement. Everyone else seemed to so easily :/
