Medical abortion
Hi everyone, I’m posting this because I figured it might help other people as some of your post has helped me. I’m five weeks today. I took the first portion of the medical abortion pill yesterday at 5 PM. It’s now 5:30 PM the next day. This morning when I woke up, I took my normal medication (suboxone) — please don’t judge. I have been clean for years … once I left home I was feeling pretty normal. On my way to work before I got there. I took a little bit of cannabis, that usually calms me down because I’ve been feeling really anxious. I figured it would help. Well, I was very wrong about that. It sent me in a full-blown panic attack. I was trembling. My heart was racing beating through my chest. I couldn’t even hold my hand out without it shaking tremendously. I had to cancel my entire day.
I ended up going to the walk-in clinic and they checked my vitals. Everything was normal. I tried to go to the hospital emergency room but the wait time in Canada is absolutely disgusting. I would’ve been there probably for 30 hours – no lie
so here we are in about 20 minutes I’ll be taking the four pills (misoprostol) I’ll be inserting them vaginally. I have a comfy blanket watching movies heating pad. I took 800 mg of ibuprofen 20 minutes ago and my partner is here in case anything happens. I also sent him a list of emergency situations and what he should do. I am petrified to save the lease so if anyone has any advice or anything at all, please comment because I’ll be trying to distract myself over the next little while and I’ll also update you guys in a few hours. I forgot to mention that I spoke to the abortion doctor once I got home and told her everything I just said, and she said that cannabis can interact with the abortion meds that can increase the effects of Thc supposedly and she said it could’ve just been the perfect storm, but it was awful. I am praying this second dose is a breeze like some of yours has been.

7:15pm — approximately an hour and a half since inserting miso, have minimal cramping maybe a two out of 10 no bleeding yet. Please pray for me.
