Thailand travellers: quick reality check.

How often did you run into vendors that ONLY accepted PromptPay / local QR / cash?

Examples:
- street food
- taxis
- market stalls
- small shops
- tours

Did you:
- withdraw cash because of it?
- skip purchases?
- find workarounds?

Trying to understand whether this is a real repeated pain or occasional annoyance.

Hi guys, wondering if anyone has started using these? I’m deciding on which would be best as I’ll be visiting a few countries in SEA so which would be most universal for QR payments.

Anyone have any experience with them? Any advice on lowest fees. My main point is I want to be able to pay with QR for stuff like markets and street sellers.
