M2 ye haver here, i love her but its because i love her sm that i want her to be better. I think criticism is healthy when done right. Theres the “obvious” takes i have, but also some more original ones. lmk what u think:

1. I dont like how late she was introduced, or how the game kinda felt like it was “forcing” me to be with her. Id prefer if the hype & story were introduced more naturally. Im all for a romance story, but jeez, no need to basically base the whole game around it. Make it a cool side-story or smth, theres so much potential there. Also, drag things out a little. It wouldve been completely fine if they rolled out AOD first and then introduced her afterwards, with enough hype built up. Miyabi worked for a reason.

2. Looks-wise, her outfit feels way too different compared to the other Yunkui Summit members, and honestly the games urban aesthetic as a whole. And it doesnt have to be that way at all. We couldve had the current outfit as a skin, while her real outfit was something that fit the setting more. Yk? Cause she literally says “my other half picked this outfit for me,” and that sounds like dialogue that would match perfectly for a skin, not her main attire.

3. Her weapon was also iffy for me. I honestly think it wouldve been way cooler if the sheath/scabbard itself was the cursed weapon, with the ability to fly around and unsheathe a million flying swords that follow its will. Thats a WAY BETTER idea imo because of how original it is, and it explains EVERYTHING happening visually, giving this massive sheath/scabbard an actual purpose. In one of the concept arts, it had a one-eyed demon thing, kinda like Miyabis tailless, instead of the yinyang sphere. That made it look way more thematically connected to cursed weapons in zzz, while also making it feel alive, like its the thing thats actually cursed here. That works way better than Yixuan, out of all people, somehow developing a flying sheath whose only purpose is to awkwardly follow Ye Shunguang around and trap her weapon. Yixuan feels way more like the type of person to use an ether-cancelling paper seal to nerf a cursed weapon, like in the concept art, not all that technology stuff lol.

4. Combat-wise, i dont like how every wipeout i get is completely empty bc of held EX special :-: Also, i personally dont ever spend much time in base form during combat, so it feels like all that well-made content is basically “useless” if im trying to play as skillfully as possible. I think it wouldve been cool if they added another ultimate animation too, because theres this one scene we saw that has so much aura and fits perfectly as an ult imo. It also feels like her “different personality” is really coming out there, with the prideful posture & facial expression.

(Edit:) 5. Tiny detail, but WHY dont they change her face icon in hp bar to the white haired one when u transform? They made a splash art & everything for it, so it just seems kinda redundant to not use it for that. This also gives more visual clarity for when shes transformed or not.

Thats just my take on things that couldve been improved, and feel free to check added images for reference to what im talking about. I still love her, but thats exactly why i wanted more from her. What do you guys think? Is there anything i missed? Lmk

I havent played much of the game but this is a thing that immediately came into mind, because literally all warframes are the same height and i dont think that should be the case.

I would love it if warframes were different heights n sizes to spice up the variety between them all. Like rhino and atlas designs would go harder if they were bigger.

But what do you guys think?
