How do y'all deal with the regret of passing up a book that becomes highly sought after?

How do you deal with the regret of skipping a book that ends up being highly sought after? I skipped OC This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me literally right before renewal because I was being indecisive and liked but didn't *love* the excerpt I read. And now it's going for like over $200 / getting people their DISOs in trades. I try really hard to beat the FOMO and not get books that I'm not certain I'll enjoy or can easily sell/trade, but that's hard after a regretful skip like this 😅

Packages not being delivered on Saturdays

I live in an apartment complex with a package room that's accessible to USPS and other delivery drivers until 5pm Mon-Sat. We also have USPS boxes for each apartment that regular mail and small packages can be put in, and all apartments have front doors that open to the outside so we can also get porch deliveries.

Any time I've had a package expected to be delivered on Saturday by USPS, it's always rescheduled for the next delivery day because "the business was closed", which means I can't get it until Monday. Most of the times this has happened, I could see that the delivery attempt was close enough to 5pm that it was plausible our complex and the package room actually was closed, but more recently it's been like 2:30pm. I reached out to our complex about it and they confirmed they're open until 5pm on Saturdays and USPS drivers know how to deliver to the package room and are instructed to deliver to our doors if there is an issue with the package room not being open. They said maybe the driver is new and they'd try to talk to someone. I never heard back.

This morning I had a package attempted to be delivered at 11am and got the same "business was closed, rescheduled to next delivery day" notification. I can confirm the business definitely is not closed. My current package honestly isn't anything important so at most it's just annoying, but this has happened with much more important packages including overnighted packages that then didn't get to me until 2-3 days later.

It's really frustrating because if I could, I'd just go pick up the package somewhere, but I don't think that's an option. Is there a way to actually address this type of issue with someone who could help? Sorry for the long rant I'm just peeved about this.
