New modeling amp vs a multi fx pedal?

Hi everyone,

I recently sold most of my guitar pedals for the sole fact that I was spending too much time fiddling with electronics instead of actually practicing and playing. I am just a home guitarist now and want something easy to plug and play without a bunch of knobs and wires to keep it simple.

I still have my Fender Pro Jr IV tube amp that I used as my pedal platform. My question is should I just keep this amp and get a multi fx pedal like the line 6 helix to plug and play with my current amp? Or sell the tube amp and get a full modeling amp such as the Fender Mustang GTX? They are both about the same amount of money.

Being able to switch tones easily with a push of a button is what I’m looking for.

I am also open to other options as well! I play a bit of everything, like blues, rock, indie, but no metal. I play a strat and a PRS with humbuckers.

Thanks!
