Regret Buying a Spigen Liquid Air Case for My Galaxy S23 Ultra – Cracked After Normal Use

I wanted to share my experience with the Spigen Liquid Air case for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and see if anyone else has faced something similar.

I purchased the case in January 2025 for around ₹1,172 from Amazon India. I chose Spigen because of its reputation for quality and durability. My phone has always been used carefully, and the case has not been subjected to any major drops, abuse, or harsh conditions.

Unfortunately, after about 17 months of normal use, the case started developing cracks/tears near the power button cutout and the top corner. The material has become weak enough that it is separating at those points. I'll attach photos showing the damage.

I contacted Spigen customer support and provided:

Purchase invoice

Photos of the damage

A video showing the issue with the Spigen logo visible

Their final response was that the damage was likely caused by "external factors" and was not considered a manufacturing defect, so they would not provide any assistance.

To be clear, I understand the warranty period is over. However, I was hoping for at least a goodwill replacement or discount considering:

The case is a premium-priced TPU case

The damage occurred at stress points during normal usage

I've had much cheaper cases last longer without tearing

The most disappointing part isn't the warranty denial itself, but the lack of any goodwill support despite providing all requested evidence.

Has anyone else experienced cracking or tearing with the Spigen Liquid Air series, particularly on larger phones like the S23 Ultra?

Would you consider 17 months to be acceptable lifespan for a premium TPU case, or would you expect better durability?

TL;DR: Bought a Spigen Liquid Air case for my S23 Ultra. After 17 months of normal use, it cracked near the button cutout and corner. Spigen reviewed photos/video and declined any replacement or goodwill support. Feeling disappointed given the brand's reputation and price.

Agaro's customer service actually surprised me (in a good way!)

I wanted to share my recent warranty claim experience with Agaro, in case anyone is wondering how their after-sales support is.

About a year ago, I bought an Agaro electric toothbrush. Shortly after getting it, it suffered some minor damage—specifically, the indicator lights stopped working. The brush itself still cleaned perfectly fine, so instead of dealing with the hassle right away, I decided to just keep using it and wait until near the end of the one-year warranty period to get it replaced.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago, I finally raised a replacement request. I’m not going to lie, it started off pretty rocky. They initially didn't respond to my request at all. I had to call them multiple times and send about three emails just to get someone's attention.

But then, a lady from their customer support team finally called me back, and from that moment on, the process was incredibly smooth.

She took charge of the situation and explained that she would get the replacement approved. First, I had to send a video of the defective item to verify the lights weren't working. Once I sent that over, she got the approval sorted out quickly.

She arranged for a reverse pickup of the faulty toothbrush, and I didn't have to pay a single rupee for courier charges.

Here is the part that really surprised me: Usually, when you claim a warranty on something like this, the company does the bare minimum and just sends you the replacement handle in a plain box. But when the package arrived, Agaro had sent me an entirely brand-new retail pack! It included everything—the new toothbrush, spare brush heads, the travel case, the works.

Even though the initial communication took some effort, I really appreciate how the rep handled it and how the brand went above and beyond with the final replacement. Huge props to them!

TL;DR: My Agaro electric toothbrush indicator lights broke. Waited until the end of the warranty to claim it. After ignoring my initial emails/calls, a support rep finally reached out and made the process super smooth. Free pickup, and instead of just replacing the handle, they sent me a completely brand-new box with all the accessories. Highly appreciate it!
