My best friend’s pregnant, what do I need to know?
Last night I found out my best friend is 3 months pregnant, she only found out last week. We are in our late 20s and her and her partner of 11 years have always said they didn’t want children so it’s quite a shock for everyone. Im still finding it hard to believe but I cant talk about it with anyone because she’s still waiting to tell some family before making it known to everyone else in our circle. They’re keeping the baby and seem to be happy, albeit nervous and unsure about the whole thing. So I’m here to ask what I can do to help ease that anxiety and make her feel more excited. Gifts? Any particular conversations? In your experience, what made this time easier? Basically, what do I need to know as her friend who will be with nearby throughout this experience?
