Snapchat friend requests are being sent but never received – anyone know why?
I’m having a weird issue with Snapchat.
On both of my Snapchat accounts, when I add someone, it changes to “Added” on my end, so it looks like the friend request was sent. However, the other person never receives the friend request.
I also tested this with my two own Snapchat accounts. When one account adds the other, it says “Added” on the sending account, but the receiving account never gets the request.
I’ve already tried:
Restarting my iPhone.
Deleting and reinstalling the app.
Logging out and back in.
Using both Wi-Fi and mobile data.
Nothing has fixed it.
Has anyone else experienced this or knows what could be causing it?
