store.billieeilish.comHey all, have taken my 24 RS into two different dealerships across four service visits (lasting upwards of three weeks without the car) for an extremely loud interior squeaking noise that's gotten so loud that it's distracting me from driving. I already have some pretty bad OCD and anxiety, so hearing an incessant squeaking noise for my entire 1-hour commute is driving me absolutely insane and has gotten to the point that I don't think I can drive the car much longer. I have already tried a million things to figure out the noise myself to no avail. It's been nearly a year since this noise began and it has not subsided.
Have already reached out to Chevrolet and GM Financial (am leasing) about this. Neither have offered options than continuing to get it serviced or returning it and paying off the remaining lease balance, which is not an option for me. I have missed a ton of work, paid a fortune in gas for loaners, been absent a car for days and weeks from all the service appointments. It has become beyond burdensome for me to get this fixed and I am done missing work and such to get it done.
Any suggestions on what to do here? I know people throw Lemon Law around, but I don't know much about that or if this would qualify. I wanted to know if any of you have advice before I try contacting a lawyer about this as I feel so stuck and hopeless here.
