I unknowingly went through the lichen disease and lost hair around my one side of my hairline which now looks like male pattern baldness.It's said that hair loss from this is irreversable and my doctor suggested minoxidil but I don't want a lifelong and fragile treatment.

I was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience and that if a hair transplant is a better option. Thanks
