Question about biometrics and EAD/AP filing order

My spouse and I just completed our biometrics today for EB2 485s that were received on 05/15. I also received 2 FTA0 updates along with a silent touch.

However, we plan to file EAD/AP in the coming week ( as the company policy was to strictly not file EAD/AP concurrently). When I asked my attorney, they mentioned we will be called for biometrics again but I’m just curious what purpose did today’s biometrics serve if they are going to call me back in 3 weeks? Is my attorney correct here?

Thank you in advance for your inputs!

Honestly, what’s the relation between Chandramukhi and Nagavalli?

It seems like a sequel but it’s not. It seems like a parody at many points but it’s not. Is it a Meesho version of Chandramukhi? I need to know, kindly help me!

PD June 2014 - 485 Receipt notices on Day 5 after filing - Phoenix Lockbox

Package was received and signed for on May 15th.
Recieved IOEXXX receipt notices from NBC MO on May 21st for:
Primary 485, 485J and derivative 485.

Given there is only 1 week left before retrogression, can I expect anything at all in this week to happen? What is the timeline for receiving the access code and will the biometrics appointment happen even after retrogression?

P.S: Already aware of the new AoS restrictions, just curious about the general workflow from here. Thanks in advance for your response!

Extent of processing - PD1 with FAD current vs PD2 that’s Retrogressed

Given that there are several workflows that get initiated after filing for I-485, is there a definitive number of items that are cleared irrespective of whether FAD is current or retrogressed? At what point do they stop working on your case if it’s a retrogressed case? Remember that folks are submitting medicals along with i485 as of 2026.
