Grand strategy, Empire and Diplomacy.

I'm not sure how to expand without triggering my neighbours. I'd say my capital is strong, could probably do with a heavier focus on industry, but I think my army is very strong, and I'm itching to use it on something other than raiders.

I saved and took my smaller northern neighbours city, but everyone hated me for it, so I reloaded and just stayed friendly for another few years.

I'm a bit bored with playing sim city, and I think a good war would distract the plebeians from the constant epidemics. The local lords are too peaceful though.

My current plan is to get my emissary points up to 80 and use them to butter up my southern neighbour to capture the free cities. Is this advisable, or should I take a different route? Or, forget about war until I can stop people getting sick?

Praise Crator!

Can't gather my war spoils

I defeated 500 raider bugs with an underequipped elf army, got a bunch of stuff including 250 short swords, but my subjects won't pick them up. I put down a hauler, broke the palisade, made more stairs, I don't know what the problem is. They had no problem picking up 80 cut stone when that was placed outside the throne, they got the plate armour too, that was placed just to the right of the throne room, after the third gate.

Adding a "diplomacy depo" would be nice, might solve this bug and also make a separate keep like mine a bit less logistically problematic.

Aside from that, I found it annoying that I was given 200+ prisoners but only had the space for 30, it would be nice if you had a few days to build more holding cells after a battle.
