What Happens When You Reach 50 GB?

Sorry if this is already been answered somewhere, but it's the one thing that popcorn mobile seems to be a little bit vague about.

I've been thinking about switching from Google Fi to popcorn mobile. When I saw the 50 GB data cap, I looked through my usage for the last year, and well most months I used about 25 GB in total, there was one month I used about 55 and another I used about 75 because I was in mainland China, and my Google file was the only easy way to get around the great firewall. I tried different VPN on the hotels Wi-Fi, and it just didn't work.

So, what happens if a loyal customer is using about 25 GB per month, but then goes over 50 GB once or twice per year? Is their data suspended for the rest of the month? Is the connection throttle for the rest of the month (and if so, what is the throttled speed)? Is your plan canceled?

I'm guessing the policy is a little bit vague so they can decide what to do on a case by case basis. But not knowing what the consequences would be is the one thing keeping me from switching.

Student's Special Final Exam

One of the students in a college math class I teach (uni, Jason) is a big fan of Taskmaster, so I modified his final exam to make the questions Taskmaster themed.

One question was an encoded message that has to be decoded via a Caesar shift, and while the other students' message was DRAW A CARTOON CHARACTER, his was WRITE A LIMERICK ABOUT A DUCK. YOUR TIME STARTS NOW.

Instead of having to calculate monthly payments on a car, he had to calculate them on a caravan. Instead of solving a counting problem about students who were studying French and Spanish, he had to do one about people who watch Taskmaster or Countdown. And instead of finding the number of distinct pizzas that could be made by selecting 3 toppings out of 25, he had to find the number of distinct warm bread sandwiches the Javie Martzoukas Drive Thru could make by selecting 3 toppings out of 25.

But the best part was giving him an extra page, with the following:

How many fingers and toes are there in this room, at the Designated Moment™? You must yawn audibly for 5 seconds when you are ready to begin the task, and the Designated Moment™ is defined to be the end of your yawn. If any other student suspects that your yawn isn't legitimate, you will be disqualified.

Count the beans in the baked bean tin.

When you hand in your exam, wish your instructor a happy sabbatical. You must do so in a Mickey Mouse voice.

So, he solved the fingers and toes problem correctly, but his yawn was neither audible nor at least 5 seconds, so he was disqualified. He also refused to count the beans in the bean tin, which was sad because there were better choices to make (either do the task, or empty it aside from a single bean and say there's 1 bean in it). He did wish me a happy sabbatical in a Mickey Mouse voice, though, so that was good!

I don't think he noticed the tiny line in small print on the back that said, "I'd you eat any chocolate during this test, you just pay your instructor $50."
