Hey guys,

Flying in from Bangalore for a 5-day Meghalaya trip (17–21 Oct, 2 people). Need some quick inputs:

1. Weather: How’s mid-October? Has the rain stopped, and does it get properly cold in Shillong/Sohra? What kind of layers to pack? Also, is Dawki water clear by now?

2. Tour Packages: Neither of us drives, so looking for reliable local tour operators or all-inclusive packages (cab + driver + stays). Any trusted recommendations?

3. What to cover: What are the absolute must-visits for a relaxed 5-day trip without spending all day in a car?
