Sorry but golf cart folk are becoming the worst. Quite frequently I see them driving on the sidewalk on Savannah highway. None of us like traffic, nor do any of us want to walk anywhere in this heat, but that doesn’t mean that you’re above the law and can drive on the sidewalk just because you think you’re entitled to do whatever you want
I know the walkway they’re building will be useful and I’m sure it’s great but maybe they should’ve really worked on the highway/bridge first.
This poor lady was broke down because her tire popped off the rim and she couldn’t drive the car. She was on the phone with AAA when this guy hit her. He had such a ridiculous amount of time to notice that the car was not moving with its hazards on and stop or switch lanes, but he slammed right into her.
I’m sure that’s not the first car to break down on that bridge and not having a place to pull over is so dangerous.
