should i (biology major) take an extragalactic astrophysics class

Hello fellow astrophysicists! I am currently applying to Spain for an exchange semester, and I only have extracurriculars left to take.

I was browsing through classes and an Extragalactic Astrophysics class caught my attention; it’s always been a special interest of mine. The class recommends basic knowledge of astrophysics.

I’ve only taken physics, calculus, and chemistry courses… So I don’t know if it would be a mistake to take this course. Please be completely honest with me, will this class be terrible for my GPA or will I be able to handle it?

At a crossroads about my future

Hello! Looking for some advice :) I’m from Puerto Rico, and currently I am debating my options on what to do for my future.

I am very interested in radiology, I took some anatomy classes and it was very fun for me (I’m currently in college right now for biology).

I also have the opportunity of going to spain with a friend who is going to do their masters there! I found some FP courses for radiology in spain but noticed that there’s little room for growth career wise there. However, Spain is a beautiful country and it would make me happy to live in a place where there is public transport and walkable spaces.

Or, I could study radiology in Puerto Rico and get ARRT certified. From there, my plan would be to move to the USA. How is life over there? My soul craves community and a walkable city with lots to do, yet cozy and not too hectic. Will I be able to find something like that over there? I am scared of moving somewhere stagnant and being miserable, I guess. I know that the opportunities for career growth over there are amazing. But I want to hear from anyone’s experience so I can decide what is best for me.

Thank you :) <3
