Serpais (?)

I saw this statue at the GEM and I was honestly a bit stranged out, since I never heard of him in most prominent myths (though I'm not very educated on Egyptian mythos), he's supposed to be a syncretism of Zeus, Dionysius, Osiris, Hades, and Apis (I also kept seeing Apis but I don't know who that is either) did he hold any importance in the pantheon, did he embody the spheres of influence of all of the deities listed above, was worship of him that common?

Tbh compared to the other Greco-Roman period statues something about this one just looked stylistically off. TLDR: WHO IS THIS GUY??? Why is there such little mention of him???

Did Homer try to combine all of the myths from different city-states to make a sort of "cannon" for them for the Illiad? Were some myths more commonly held in belief than others?

Apologies if it's a silly question, but this came to mind because I distinctly remembered in the Illiad that there was a scene that essentially had Aphrodite descend, get humbled, then get scolded by Zeus saying something along the lines of "War is not your place." which was essentially calling out the places that at the bronze age worshipped Aphrodite as a war goddess as well, ex: Cyprus

Are there other examples of him doing this with other deities as well?

I (tried) to draw Raiden Shogun in the hades 1 artstyle

The colors in this game are extremely hard to replicate, God bless the artists 😭💔 criticism is appreciated, so long as it's respectful. I'm unsure if this follows subreddit rules, as It has to do with the artstyle but not nessescarily the characters

How do I get closer to the likeness of a portrait/person in a drawing?

I've gotten way better at drawing portraits than when I started, BUUUUT... everytime I try to replicate portraits, or actual people's features, they still end up looking like a completley different person in my drawing 🥲

I usually start with lining where the eyes should be, and the nose, and trying to draw in shadows, etc, but by the time the drawing is done, it still doesn't look like the same person, there'll always be something slightly off. Like, the eyes will be too big, or the nose bridge will be too wide, or too rounded, or not rounded enough, or the chin will be slightly high or too low, I get better to being closer to drawing the person the more I repeat the drawing, but with certain faces/not shaded imagery, it feels genuuuuinely impossible.

I don't know if there's any studies I could do, or books I could focus on, etc that could help me with this.

For refrence, I'd say I'm beginner to intermediate level, are there any books or videos or techniques that could help me? Much appreciated

My wife pemrnenatly blinded a guest of ours. AITA?!

I (M) and my wife (F) were having an argument over who derives more sexual pleasure during intercourse, she argued that men derived more pleasure, and I argued women. I'm well versed in this regard, as I've had many partners, while she has only ever had one, but for some reason she refused to back down, I decided to settle it by going to a friend of a friend of our brothers and also my son, who is uniquely versed in this regard (he has lived life as both a woman and a man) he's also very sound in his judgements, he basically said something along the lines of "Women receive up to 9 or 10 times as sexual pleasure as men during intercourse!" confirming my point, but my wife is a difficult woman, and she punished this friend by permenantly blinding him.

(which Is extremely distasteful! I would have never acted in such a manner, but she is petty, I am always so kind to her :/)

I tried to help that friend, long story short now he can see the future, and she's still mad over it. AITA?

(this post is a joke retelling unsure if I made it not obvious enough lol)
