Starter recommendations?

Hi !! I am looking to get a turntable and speakers for myself as my first real set up now that I'm an adult with an income. Preferably a turntable under or at $300! Every thread I have seen give conflicting advice, so at this point I am begging for someone knowledgable to help me out on this one because I feel lost. I am truly not picky, up until now I have had a suitcase player that I have maybe used 3 times ever because I am so worried about damaging my vinyl. I have a collection that I would love to be able to actually play and listen to in my room. Thanks so so much!!!

Wondering how to safely display/store a 20 year-old Polaroid

Hi all, I have a question about safely storing an old Polaroid of mine. I bought this one of a kind Color 600 Polaroid that was taken on Panic! At The Disco's first tour in 2006 of Mr. Ryan Ross on an auction about 6 months ago and don't quite know what to do with it storage or display wise. I have a frame from Polaroid designed to protect it with the special glass, but part of me wants to just keep it in a box to keep it safe from sun damage. I've attached a photo of it of course, how can I safely store this thing? With a toploader? Is it going to damage it to keep it in a frame (out of direct sunlight ofc) even with protected glass? I'm super anxious about ruining it somehow, it's my prized possession! Thanks so much.

hi all ! i’m relatively new to doing linocut pressings, but i’m very comfortable with paper pressings. shirts, not so much. i’m having a lot of trouble with ink and saturation. the issue i’m having is not enough ink and it turns out bad and barely visible, but if i use too much I lose detail because it gets in the fine lines and ruins my small detail work. i’m having to do this by hand, i don’t have any kind of pressing machine (besides my arms) I included a photo of the image on paper vs the shirt. i’m frustrated, these are gifts for a band i’m seeing perform and i want them to be saturated and nice. im using speedball screen printing ink with plexiglass and a speedball brayer roller. but i also have the oil based ink if that works better.
