My husband and I are moving to the West end of Toronto, in a few days, for a job opportunity. My son will be 1 year old in September - which is when we will need daycare. I have registered us on 30+ daycares (not home daycare, just centres) and I have called and emailed and plan to do follow-ups. My search / applications started in March / April FYI.

I feel optimistic but I also want a reality check... Does anyone know someone who was in a similar situation and still got into daycare? Anyone know what our chances are?

These waitlists seem vague and not managed in ORDER of who applied.
