Supply Drop BBS, open source BBS that works with MeshCore, Meshtastic and more

First, the disclaimer: This is AI-assisted code. I have 31 years experience as a software engineer.

Supply Drop BBS is modeled after Citadel, a BBS (bulletin board system) from the 80s (and still alive today).

It's free and open source, built in Rust.

It's mesh-first, MeshCore and Meshtastic are first-class citizens.

It works with basically any protocol. You'll just need to write a plugin for anything else. As a bit of a joke, I created a Telnet plugin.

It can be fully administered via the CLI or the optional web ui.

I developed this with the idea that communities could have a community board via digital communications if SHTF.

It's been around a few months, with a few users. So the bulk of the major bugs are fixed at this point. I am looking to bring it to v1.0.0 soon.

I'd love your feedback or bugs. Feel free to create issues on the GitHub, or even hit me up here.

Muzi Base Uno/Duo firmware support

If you own a Duo or Uno, with or without Super IO, please upvote this PR

https://github.com/meshcore-dev/MeshCore/pull/3108

I've been testing it for weeks, and today also added the capability for the Super IO mode switch to turn GPS on/off.

The bulk of this work was done by lbibass and andyshinn. I simply got the work merged and tested.

If you know how, please pull the branch and build the firmware and test it and post your results to the GitHub PR.

Thanks!

Mobile Repeater project

Based on the Printables project `/model/1649700-vehicle-roof-top-solar-for-meshtastic` from William C.

The case is printed in ASA.

It's hosting a Heltec T096 board with a Diamond NR920 antenna. 2 x 3000mAh 18650s provide the juice. The thermal switch will cool the unit when the ambient air hits 40C (104F) with a 20mmx20mm fan.

I coated the antenna in Rustoleum truck bed liner to keep it from rusting.

Everything is sealed up with electronic grade silicone from ASI.

I tested the NR920 in the timberlands. It's a sweet little antenna!

It's 7dBi, and the performance on this antenna is amazing. I was using a stubby Alfa previously, but this one is a game changer. I was able to hit my mountaintop repeater in places I could not get a signal previously.

It's a Diamond, and they are known for quality. I was not disappointed. I am considering spraying it with truck bed liner to keep it from rusting.

I assume this would make a great antenna for stationary repeaters as well.

Easily flash MeshCore community firmware

Hi everyone. I've been lurking a while, but this is my first post. I wanted to share that I created a flasher than handles flashing various community firmware, in addition to MeshCore official.

Right now you can easily flash MeshCore, EasySkyMesh Powersaving, WadaMesh and Mike Carper's Keymind Cascade firmware.

I'd love any feedback! There's a bug report link at that bottom of the app.
