What makes a "must-have" tool for you?

Specifically, AI web builders- what makes it worth paying for?

My view is that the right tool is an opportunity to optimize production and efficiency so you can increase capacity and profits (without the cost of hiring).

But, what do you look for in a tool like this that makes it a must-have that you'll pay for?

Who's taking advantage of AI to build basic sites faster & cheaper than ever?

We always wanted to be able to serve the small businesses that didn't have the budget for a custom solution. A lot of them have no need for a custom site either.

They just need something basic to get them online, rank higher, build trust and credibility.

But we couldn't be profitable on those smaller projects, even with volume.

Now we can. 3Web.ai has enabled us to compete with yellow pages, offering simple, brochure style sites that are affordable but still turn a profit.

It's a win/win. Who else is taking advantage of this opportunity?

What are you using?

A Message from our Technical Founder

I've been running a Canadian based agency 3Innovative Inc. since 2021 and want to share how I solved one of my biggest pain points.

We had developers on staff in house working on developing insurance AMS software for about 2.5 years and were constantly fighting with staffing, using Jira and all these other subscription tools, paying for remote workstation VPS for each employee so they didn't house the code on their computers etc.

This was a nightmare so I developed an in house product called 3Web that merged all of this into a single solution, and added in world class AI coding that was based off of using an agile workflow with sprints, deliverables and tasks. This has been an absolute game changer so a month ago we launched this to the public for anyone to use for free or paid if you want more usage.

I want to invite everyone to give it a try and see if this is a game changer for you also.

It automatically scopes entire complex development projects, even estimates the tasks and gives you a detailed estimate PDF to send to your client.

We welcome all feedback and look forward to seeing the amazing things you build.

3Web's Studio Mode turns vague vibes into structured roadmaps, sprints, architecture plans, investment tracking, ROI dashboards, and AI-executed tasks with full project context. That’s perfect for agencies, founders, and marketing teams who outgrow pure solo tools.

Now, the homepage, like the app, defaults to your system preferences of dark or light mode.

Which do you like better?

I used 3web to vibecode this site for my son: https://sandbox-workspace-1-1-52yd1w.preview.3web.ai/

It's inspired by those old blog pages, and it's for him to share his stories, creations, ideas, and imagination. I love how it turned out!

I used Claude to give me a refined, specific prompt and the results were awesome! Until we had in a prompt translator, use Claude or chat to refine your prompts.

Next steps: functionality, that means connectors, setting up supabase, etc.

Any suggestions for cool interactive additions?

Growing agencies, solopreneurs, solo founders, startups, who would be your first hire if/when you had the budget? What role do you see as most crucial to grow your operation? And would you hire, or find freelancers/contractors?

Background: At one point, our parent company had grown to include (beyond our founders) some devs and a QA. But we experienced some rough waters and were forced to shrink back down to just a QA, then all the way back down to just our founders.

We were bogged down in client work but couldn't afford to hire another team member without growing our client base. Scaling seemed impossible. Eventually, we built a solution that worked for us to get us through that awkward phase that many small, bootstrapped, solo-founded operations experience.

We've learned a lot since then. And, upon reflection, we know we would've done differently from the beginning, including hiring/contracting out dev work immediately so we could actually operate the business and focus on sales.

Agree? Disagree? What would you do?

v2 of 3Web is officially live! Solo Tier is here. Plus, we are still working on fixing some bugs we've had brought to our attention.

For me the most impressive use has been using AI as a thinking partner rather than just a tool.

For example, I use it to stress-test decisions before committing reviewing contracts, policies, or client communications and asking “what could go wrong here?” or “what assumptions am I missing?”

How about y’all?
