i just got hired at a big firm. i have no consulting experience (i came from technical services) but i have lots of experience with project management and technical writing/compliance tracking/CAPA etc. and a little bit of environmental work.
how the hell do i convince people to take me on a project?
im still new but it seems impossible and everyone has told me to just be patient? but what do you do when you’ve already used up all your contacts? just wait around and edit internal stuff? also trying to hype up your skills while not trying to oversell what you can do is crazy.

hi i’m curious if any of yall have left a company after they paid for you’re tuition for school? i am considering taking another position, but am curious about how quickly i would have to pay it back. the policy just states “the individual will be required to repay [company] an amount equal to the following” which % i would have to pay for each year if i leave. do you think if i would have to pay it back all at once or if they’d be a repayment? i know this is more of an HR question but i dont want to ask until the position is confirmed

my flight flys out of C, but i have access to the Escape Lounge in D. i was looking at the airport map and it doesn’t seem like the two are connected? can anyone who flys out of here lmk if the two are/arent connected?? tia (:
