Handbrake cable issues

Handbrake cable issues

Got my MOT back the other day and it listed a few

hand brake issues, I go to adjust my hand brake lever

and notice it's plenty tight, but one of the cables

seems to be much looser than the other (or perhaps

one is much tighter than the other?). Any armchair

mechanics know what this means and how to fix it

and what I should do? any help is appreciated lol

My battery works fine, but won't start after I turn it off.

So I've not driven my car in a two or three months, and naturally the battery died in that time. I jumpstarted it earlier and it sprung to life no problems. Everything was working fine, and I let it run for 30 or so minutes for the alternator to do it's thing. All good so far, but if I turn the car off, it won't turn back on, it seems as though the battery is dead again. Jumpstarting it again solves the issue, but as soon as the car is turned off, the battery seems to become unresponsive. Does anyone know what causes this?
