Bad Zoysia Dad

I’m in Nashville Tennessee. I have no idea what zone I’m in lol. I soded my backyard with emerald Zoya, which I’ve loved. I maintained it well for a few years, but last year went through some stuff and completely let it get overrun with crabgrass and everything else that has smothered out some of the good turf grass. I was committed to getting back on course this year. I got my pre-emergent out on time and have started fertilizing and now watering. I have some good sections where I can plug from but any other advice is appreciated. I know it spread slow and this is probably a multi year project to try to bring it back to where it was if it’s even possible. Any advice is appreciated!
