Elimination diet

I've been working with a functional doctor/dietitian, I have almost been on my elimination diet for five weeks, it has been bland to say the least.
My first two weeks I was still eating some of the wrong foods so it has been dragged out a bit longer than it should have been.

My safe foods have been:
Oats, brown rice, chicken, turkey, salmon, carrot, corn, olive oil, parsley, salt.

I'm ready to start bringing other healthy foods back into my diet, although I need some encouragement to get through the next week.

Histamine Intolerance, chronic hives and chronic eczema.

Please tell me your experiences with healing your histamine intolerance...

This is the protocol I've been put on with my naturopath/dietitian.
I had extensive blood and microbiome testing, my levels are high and I have chronic inflammation, so the doses may not be appropriate for others.

These are all temporary doses and most end up being reduced or stopped all together after a month.

Month one:
L-glutamine (5g, slowly built up to 15g per day on an empty stomach)
Vitamin D+K (one capsule daily)
Quercetin (1500mg daily - 500mg three times per day)
Zinc Glycinate (one capsule daily)
Fish Oil EPA & DHA (one morning, one night)

Month two:
GIT Immunobiotic (one teaspoon in water each morning - contains l-glutamine)
Protectis Bio Gaia chewable (one daily)
Vitamin D+K (one capsule daily)
Quercetin 500mg (three times daily)
Fish Oil EPA & DHA (one morning, one night)
Liquid Iodine (I had low iodine levels)
PHGG (starting at 1/2 scoop, building up to one scoop)
DAO (one before lunch, one before dinner)
AntiBioBontanical Panaxea (two with dinner)
