Something mildly interesting I noticed about David's first tv role
According to IMDb, his first role* was in the show Dramarama (S6E13, The Secret of Croftmore). His character's name is Neil McDonald. It's kinda funny to me because his actual last name was McDonald, and his professional lame was inspired by Neil Tennant from the Pet Shop Boys. It's like his first character's name was a combination of his real name and the name of the person who inspired his professional name. I wonder if it was intentional and if so, who's responsible for that. Maybe that's interesting only to me but I thought I'd share.
(*I know his first role was actually that anti-smoking thingy but it's so short that it barely counts)
so i recently watched jessica jones
and got inspired to make a couple of memes lol. i guess i kinda relate to kilgrave at times (that sentence sounded much better in my head oops but you know what i mean)
Which two DT characters would absolutely hate each other?
I'll start: Steven Clemens from The Bill (S11E128) and Crowley from Good Omens (S2E1).
it took me an embarrassingly long time to notice this
i love tiny silly references like this, especially when they involve wordplay - "are you my mummy" from "mummy on the orient express" is another favourite
Jessica Jones predicted DT being the 14th doctor
He was 10, he was 14, sooo does that mean he'll also be 25? I guess we'll have to wait for 30 years and find out!
Does Dorium's sneeze sound like "doctor who" to anyone else?
Around 8:20 of the episode The Wedding of River Song, Dorium sneezes, and to me the sneeze really sounds like the words "doctor who". Maybe I'm going crazy but maybe not, so I wanted to see if anyone else can hear it.
Maybe it's just a random sneeze because it's a dusty old room. Or perhaps it's foreshadowing to the first question. The oldest question in the universe, hidden in plain sight. After all, it is Dorium who reveals the question to the Doctor - we hear it in the end of the episode.
So, what do you think? Can you hear it, or is my brain playing tricks on me?
