Hey there! I am moving to NYC from Maryland. I'm a current ENL teacher in MD, have a masters and teaching license in TESOL, 4 years experience, and have been in the NYC teacher finder since February. l've expressed interest in about 5 schools and cold emailed three. Should I be worried about not getting hired? The hiring boom for my current district is March-April so from my experience it's not looking good.

Edited to add: I have applied for NYS certification and I believe I have done everything to meet requirements. Still waiting to hear back about that as well.
