Am I the only one who hates Saya and Fuminori?

I've just completed the game, seeing all three endings. Although I felt sorry for the Fuminori condition, and for Saya willing to understand love; however the way Fuminori treats Yoh, especially when Saya and him take her captive and the other actions they've done...They made felt disgusted by their actions (which I think is the objective of the creators). For those who love them, I want to ask what brings people to love them.

(I'm not attacking people's tastes, I'm just curious to see what makes them loved by those who actually love them)
