Has anyone had this before? They added a hook behind my bottom molar to add an elastic so I could fix my crossbite (at the same time as my overjet). Feels so weird and still poking my tongue, wondering what anyone else’s experience with this was like if you’ve had it?

Two top molar extractions and currently at 4 weeks of rubber bands - honestly pretty shocked at how much my teeth have moved, especially my bottom row

2 premolar extractions + top wire and elastics added at my 6 week appointment. Bottom teeth have been shifting nicely so far!

Please tell me when the pain from elastics end 🥲

Loved using them as a kid but fell for the perfectionist mind trap and gave up on art for a long time. Getting back into it and been having fun with it. Followed a tutorial off of TikTok - hoping to become smoother with blending and layering in time
