Do I need a new extension spring?
Noticed this yesterday while installing a new opener (seen in background). Is this dangerous? Do I need a new spring? The door is very well balanced as I installed new pulleys and cables with the opener —runs smooth and quiet. Sort of hesitant to get new springs, as I am thinking I will have to retune the door balance with new, longer cables. Assuming the new springs will be tighter even if I am able to find the same spring rating.
