I start my first attorney job in 2 weeks (well, law clerk while I wait for my bar results but I’m manifesting) and I am stressing about my office. (ridiculous i know)

So many questions that I hope law bitches w mode taste (and experience) than me can help answer

1. Is it weird to decorate your office as a first year? What’s realistically considered “too much”? The other people at my new office don’t REALLY decorate but i am such a “need this space to be cozy and happy” type person lol

2. When do you decorate? Like I’m not showing up with a Uhaul on Day 1 obv but like… week 2? month 2? and do I come to the office on the weekend to do it? LMAO

3. Do I need to ask permission to rearrange the stuff that’s already in there? The way they have the desk positioned currently is not the most ideal imo lol (and also ask permission to like… nail into the wall? to hang my diplomas?? or to put the monitors they give me on a monitor arm??)

4. how did you decide your vibe? bonus points if you tell me things that are a must have for you in your office!!!

i am not trying to like do an HGTV type renovation i just wanna be happy in the office lol

I am looking to find one or two resellers to work with to provide sourced items! I live in a relatively affluent area with 35+ thrift stores (goodwill, bins, and other non GW thrift stores) within an hour radius.

I’ve just moved into a new corporate role that will limit the amount of time that I can spend on my own storefront (photographing, listing)… but I still LOVE to source (it’s a way of destressing for me) and source fantastic items that I’d love to find a home.

My speciality is women’s clothing (largely athleisure, higher end professional brands, and middle to high end trendy brands) but I source men’s clothing as well. More than happy to discuss your needs/wants and possibility of partnering in message!

All in all - I LOVE sourcing, just won’t have the time to fully operate a storefront with my new role, and would love to help someone else who may find it difficult to spend the time sourcing.
