Nkunku for £25.6m?
Newcastle has interest in the versatile Christopher Nkunku. Who can operate as a second striker, central attacking midfielder, false nine, or wide forward, adapting fluidly within the attacking structure. AC Milan want £25.6m for him after signing the 28-year old from Chelsea last summer for £42.8m. Nkunku's annual salary is £10.1m after signing a 6-year deal a year ago.
I suspect if we sign him. MJ might as necessary utilize Nkunku as a 10. He scored 8-goals with 3-assists in 35 appearances last season. Two years ago with Chelsea in 46 appearances Nkunku registered 13-goals with 5-assists. Not bad.
But during the 2022 and 2023 seasons with Red Bull Leipzig he combined for 58-goals in 88-appearances with 22-assists.
Should Newcastle get Nkunku if it costs them £25.6?
