I’ve wanted something to play retro games on and for a while maybe a Steam Machine.

Way back I used the retail mode Retroarch but it was a pain constantly being taken down and I never wanted to sign up for dev mode and pay, but I just signed up for the free one (I’m in the uk so they’ve already taken my ID etc regardless) and in under 2hrs Retroarch and the PS2 emulator up and running with better performance than my on my PC.

My dusty Series X has just been given a new life and I had my retro player sat there the entire time.

Looking forward to digging into this further over the weekend.
