Picks for people with disability!
OK, I post this every couple so here goes again. I have a disability that severely affects my right (ie strumming) hand (I had a stroke when I was 17). Normal picks just don't work for me. At present, I make my own to hold the thumb and forefinger together to hold the pick in place. It's a solution but about 3 in 10 work out because they're finicky, they deteriorate etc. Anyway, I've just started using a Pykmax (photo) after years of owning one and they actually work pretty well after a couple of mods BUT I fear they've stopped making them. 😭 Amazon doesn't sell them anymore and their website doesn't answer me. Would anyone have any leads OR any other suggestions. Sorry in advance that I'll appear to poo poo most suggestions- I know they'll all come from a really good and helpful place but it's been 35 years and I believe I've tried EVERYTHING. My hand spasticity is super complex and I'm still getting OT for it. But if anyone's got some new suggestions, bring it. TIA!!
