neckbeards looking terrible is the common sentiment and essentialy universally agreed on. and unlike genetic factors like height or controllable factors that are hard to control such as weight, having a neckbeard is COMPLETELY optional, therefore if a man has a neckbeard, it's because he either doesn't take care of himself at all or has horrible taste which is why he should never be taken seriously.
