I broke up with my ex of 6 years 2 months ago and it was mutual. I’ve started resenting him for everything he’s done, not following through with our time line or progressing the relationship. And he said he just wants to “work on himself”.

He’s been exhibiting strange behavior sometimes saying “I love you” “I’m working on us by working on myself” calls me “babe” “love” and I’m just here trying to live before the lease ends so I can leave in September. I’ve told him to not call me those names anymore because I am just his ex. His behavior has become erratic sometimes trying to exhibit in relationship vibes and other times insulting me during arguments saying I’m a bitch because he was “hungry” so that cuss word “slipped”. I think he is insane. Of course I won’t let that slide so I cuss him back out and it escalates into this maddening swirl of us throwing our clothes and shoes at each other.

I thought we can be amicable before moving out since we live in a 2bed 2bath and we have our separate spaces so it’s not so cramped. It seems like it’s becoming more impossible. I’m already going to therapy for the trauma of this relationship and other things. What do you guys think?
