I just launched Meeka, a bookkeeping app for MacOS
Hey! I’ve been working on a bookkeeping app called Meeka, and it’s finally live.
I built it because I wanted something simple for managing my businesses without needing to pay for something like quickbooks.
Meeka has invoicing, quotes, clients, expenses, bills, budgets, tax tracking, reports, and accountant exports. It’s a native macos app, so there's no web client or windows alternative right now. I’m also planning an ios version to come out sometime in the coming months.
If you be interested in trying, It’s currently available on the App Store in Canada and the US.
The free version of Meeka supports one business and lets you create up to 15 income, expense, and bill records each month. It includes the core bookkeeping features, so you can try it properly before deciding whether you need Meeka Pro.
Pro removes those limits and lets you add unlimited businesses, recurring records, time tracking, and the ability to turn unbilled time into invoices.
I’d love to hear your input and what you currently use for bookkeeping and what you wish it did better.
I am currently just looking for features that people on other platforms use, to add to Meeka so that it feels more flushed out and easier for everyone to use.
