I didn’t realize how much hate there was toward AI music until I started sharing mine

I started making music simply because I loved creating it. I write my own lyrics, sometimes go through dozens of covers just to find the one that feels right, and spend countless hours working on mixing, EQ, and mastering. Then there’s creating visuals, music videos, and Spotify Canvases to bring each song to life.

It’s a lot of work, but I genuinely enjoy the creative process.

What I wasn’t prepared for was what happened when I started promoting my music on social media.

Suddenly, I found myself dealing with so much negativity toward AI music. Some people seem to dismiss everything the moment they hear the word AI, regardless of how much thought, time, or creative effort went into it.

I understand that AI music is controversial, and I respect that not everyone will like it. But sometimes it feels like people have already made up their minds before they’ve even listened.

The strange thing is, making music has been one of the most enjoyable and fulfilling things I’ve done. Trying to get people to discover that music has been an entirely different experience.

I never started this to prove anything to anyone. I just wanted to create something meaningful to me and share it with people who might enjoy it.

I’m curious if other Suno creators have experienced the same thing. Has sharing your music been harder than actually making it?
