What color are the lights Pat? Green like the oceans on Valkyr, or an often controlling red?

Mother Ghost

Synopsis to a movie starring a real life actress named Wendy Davis.

How do we tell Pat Maine?

^(also why am I now seeing a relationship between the names Max Payne and Pat Maine? Nevermind the androgynous first names, the initials are mirrored MP and PM and contain a bonus/unnecessary letter in their respective last names that is intended to mislead you between Pain/Pane and Main/Mane. This is what happens when you've had too much Valkyr.)

So I discovered the Finnish Epic Poem

The Kalevala

Rune XXII:

"The Teasing of the Bride" or "The Bride's Departure"

^((Taken from the very end of the rune/poem/song/canto))

>"Be no longer full of sorrow,

>Dry thy tears, thou bride of beauty,

>Thou hast found a noble husband,

>Better wilt thou fare than ever.

>By the side of Ilmarinen,^(1)

>Artist husband, metal-master.

>Bread-provider of thy table,

>On the arm of the fish-catcher,

>On the breast of the elk-hunter,

>By the side of the bear-killer.

>Thou hast won the best, of suitors,

>Hast obtained a mighty hero;

>Never idle is his cross-bow.

>On the nails his quivers hang not,

>Neither are his dogs in kennel.

>Active agents is his hunting. ^(2)

>Thrice within the budding spring-time,

>In the early hours of morning,

>He arises from his fire-couch.

>From his slumber in the brush-wood,

>Thrice within the sowing season,

>On his eyes the deer has fallen.

>And the branches brushed his vesture,

>And his locks been combed by fir-boughs.

>Hasten homeward with thy husband,

>Where thy hero's friends await thee,

>Where his forests sing thy welcome.

>Ilmarinen there possesses

>All the birds that fly in mid-air,^(3)

>All the beasts that haunt the woodlands,^(4)

>All that feed upon the mountains.^(5-)

>All that graze on hill and valley,^(-5)

>Sheep and cattle by the thousands

>Sweet the grass upon his meadows.

>Sweet the barley in his uplands,

>In the lowlands corn abundant,

>Wheat upon the elm-wood fallows,

>Near the streamlets rye is waving,

>Waving grain on many acres,

>On his mountains gold and silver,

>Rich his mines of shining copper.

>Highlands filled with magic metals,

>Chests of jewels in his store-house,

>All the wealth of Kalevala."

^(1:) Ilmarinen is derived from the combination of two words: Ilma which translates to air and rinen which means to be. Therefore, the name Ilmarinen can be interpreted to mean one who is connected to the air or one who dwells in the heavens. In terms of historical usage, Ilmarinen played a significant role in Finnish mythology.

^(2:) An “active agent” is someone who believes they can improve their life by taking action

^(3:) Jesse Faden could be considered as a bird that flies in mid-air, but also the owl above Alan's typewriter

^(4:) Old Scratch, The Devil, The Beast?

^(5:) The chorus from Yoton Yo is filled with the word syö, which translates to eat:

>^(On yötön yö - It's nightless night) ^(or) ^(Nightless night is upon us)

>^(Se valon syö - It eats the light)

>^(On yötön yö - ")

>^(Se toivon syö - It eats hope)

>^(On yötön yö - ")

>^(Se rakkaan syö - It eats the beloved) ^(or) ^(It loves to eat)

>^(On yötön yö - ")

>^(Se kaiken syö - It eats everything)

So...

Yeah...

Fell down quite a rabbit hole yesterday, ended up here.
This is all just serendipity... right?

^(P.S. Spoilered and titled questionably because my posts keep getting taken down and idk why anymore.)
