Kinsey Scaling The Smiths
(Repost, realized I misspelled Kinsey)
Not sure if this has been done before. Just a bit of fun! Title is a bit misleading since I’m more-so ranking from Gay-Not Gay than Gay-Straight.
These are all based off of my personal interpretations as a mid-entry level The Smiths fan, as well as some Genius lyric annotations I’ve read. Feel free to ask for explanations or give your own opinions. Many of the gayer songs are ranked as such due to connection to homosexuality/support for homosexuality/connection to Johnny Marr etc.
Each tier is individually ranked within itself as well.

If one of the main reasons marr-morrissey split up was because of creative differences, why are 90s morrissey solo works so similar to the smiths era?
Expanding on the title: As far as I know, one of the reasons Morrissey and Marr split up was because of their individual desires for the music they wanted to create. I know that Morrissey wanted to make more covers of girl-group-style music, like The Shangri-Las and The Cookies. Meanwhile, Johnny wanted to create more independent work, and famously did not enjoy recording the infamous Golden Lights cover.
So, I guess my question is, why doesn’t more of Morrissey’s solo work represent his 60s girl group influences? I know he’s been leaning into different styles since maybe the 2000s/10s, but I’d think his music in the 90s immediately after the breakup would be more differentiated. Is there even one song?
I’m so curious! Teach me The Smiths history

GA Ticket Prices
Hi guys!! This is my first post in this subreddit. I’m super excited for the tour and this new era. Going to the show would probably be the highlight of my year. I already saw on the tour website that GA prices start at $37.50 USD, howeverrr.. I’m scared of the additional fees and possible ticket inflation.
Taking those factors into account, do you guys think that $50 would be enough for a GA ticket for the NYC venue? Could anyone share how much they paid for a NYC venue ticket in the past?
