am I the only one that observes the trend of booking classes on asian airlines not earning miles with flying blue? some examples:

I booked some flights with Vietnam Airlines recently within asia. all are connections through either Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh. After booking I found out I got in booking class T. As this booking class isn''t mentioned in the earning scheme I guess I wont get XP nor miles for those flights

the thing about all this is: during the booking process there is no single indication in which booking class your ticket is gonna be issued. it says the ticket wont earn many miles on their own frequent flyer programm (10%/25%) but there is no hint about the booking class nor that it could not earn miles on others frequent flyer programs.

now I'm looking for flights with Xiamen Airlines. Here at least it says booking class S (see screenshot). But again - even this is not a super saver price this class seems not to earn any miles or XP AND the only option to fly on a class mentioned in the earning scheme is a business class flight which costs 7x the price of eco

so my questions:

- do you guys experience the same lately and has anyone flown on these airlines in eco recently? did you earn xp/miles?

- or is it just the flyingblue website that is outdated and not updated with new booking classes?

is it just a bug on my side (or AF/KLM) or anyone else experiencing the same effect:

I just booked a flight GVA-CDG-TFS for january with the economy light fare. what puzzled me a bit on checkout was that after checkout the website showed me: 15xp. My expectation was 10xp because both legs are less than 2000 miles.

then I checked some of my upcoming flights in the app. I have a flight next week ZRH-AMS-CPH which usually also should give me 10xp. but also here the app shows me 15xp.

or on the screenshot a flight BSL-AMS-SPU-AMS-BSL which should give me 20xp but app shows 25 (while still 20UXP)..

maybe that's coming with the new basic fares to upgrade light fare? Or did I just miss something?

First time I got a personalized card even I'm now platinum for more than one year. Appreciate and really made my day.

I always tell my friends how airlines in Asia threat me with my Elite Plus status even it's from KLM (flight attendants personally welcoming me even I'm flying eco, giving me an additional pillow,...) while at AF/KLM I seem not be recognized even I have platinum status.

So thanks to the crew for this small surprise
