never hated anything so much in my life

im 6 weeks post op and 3 weeks into post op my belly button incision started swelling up. fast forward, it was a pus pocket which ruptured and it was drained out superficially and i was given antibiotics and everything and i was changing my dressing everyday. its been almost 10 days since that happened and there was still pus in my dressing so i went to the doctor today. its a port site infection, the incision was cut open again for surgical drainage and its been packed and i have to get it changed everyday. ive been given more antibiotics. it doesn't hurt as much as it is mentally exhausting. i absolutely hate this and i havent stopped crying since i got back from the hospital which was over an hour ago. its gonna take another month for me to get better or more idk. clg starts in a month. i hate this. i just hate this. its so taxing. i feel so depressed. i just want my normal life back.

how do i tell my partner about my issues

my bf and i have been seeing eo for 4 months now, he knows i have issues but ive never explicitly mentioned having bpd to him. until today, and i just told him to read about it so that it helps him understand me better. its late and i did not want to keep him up so i insisted we talk about this later. im very much used to seeing him everyday, but we've been in long distance for a month. i dont want this distance to cause problems between us. i genuinely want him to understand what i go through and what my mind goes through everytime i have a heavy thought, like him getting tired of me and everything. i just dont want to be clingy and intolerable.

23 days post op WHEN DOES IT GET BETTER

im 23 days post op. i was doing so much better when i had just gotten my gallbladder taken out. i was recovering well and i was able to move around fine aswell. thats before i got my period, the worst one ive ever had. i was clotting like crazy. the only way i could even fall asleep was sleeping on my right, which i did for maybe 4-5 days and the right side of my body hurts since. its been 10 days since my period ended and i do sleep either flat or on my left side now, but i wake up with really sharp pain on my right. theres swelling above my belly button but i think thats normal and it doesnt even hurt much. but the right side of my body is genuinely making me regret the surgery. im mentally frustrated at this point. i just want to go back to my normal life.

edit: the swelling is an edema. i got antibiotics prescribed for a week and painkillers for the right side its just muscle soreness.

how long does it usually take for the belly button to fully recover?

im 9 days post op and ive been doing well so far. no complications at all. my stitches have been cut and im off antibiotics and everything, but the area below my belly button hurts. i wont identify the pain as severe, its just uncomfortable. how long does it usually take before i feel no pain at all and will i be able to get back to my normal activities in a month and a half?

what changes you noticed after getting your gall bladder removed?

im getting my gall bladder removed soon. i read multiple posts about people getting rid of their migraines, cold sweat issues, body odour etc. i was wondering if things like that actually happen. also is it common to lose weight post surgery?
